Suzy Cube. How can I describe this game that has been Three years in ths making...

since 2015 gamers have been pineing for a game that feels like a real platformer that really works on Mobile. There have been many that have tried and many that have failed but after three years, has Suzy Cube really changed the mobile gaming scene for the iOS store?

Back in 1996, Super Mario came out for the Nintendo 64. It was revolutionary. A 3D Mario for the first time ever. It blew gamers away. Truely blew us away. Suzy Cube is that bait and switch that does its best to catch us up i that nostalgic feeling and suck is into its gameplay and graphics. In the beginning, its lack of texture was disconcerting. It felt, to me, as if corners were cut. Truely, this is NOT the case. As i played this game more and more, i fell in love with it. Suzy Cube wears its influences on it’s sleeve, Thats true BUT Suzy Cube is its own game and it harkens a new age in iPhone games. The controls are simple. The left side of the screen controls Suzy. The Right side is the jump button. There are annoyances that are there because you can’t control the camera. It is static depending on where you are at, like an older game. It doesn’t always show you where the stars are at that you need to collect to get a good score for each level. Its ok though because each level has its own replay ability. From the first boss fight onward, Suzy Cube had blown my mind and I continue to be cuddled in the warm nostalgia that Suzy Cube makes me feel. Controls are solid, elements of breaking blocks to get power ups are nostalgic and the graphics show how much love has really been put into this game. For the price, Suzy Cube is a masterpiece that needs to be played and its another nail in the coffin that video games on mobile are casual messes that aren’t worth anyone's time. Suzy Cube shows that with love and attention,, a great game can wear other titles as inspiration but carve its own way through the other mobile titles that are a waste of time.
