Review by Barrett Baker! Now I can say I smashed a Car!: The title says it all really. Swinging around the corner, doing almost 90, i oversteered and to compensate, i slammed on my breaks. Tried to steer back and slammed into a wall. My driver door opened and upon impact with the same wall, just a few feet over, the door was sheered from the rest of the car. That was how my quick race began. I wasn’t deterred though. I kept going and improving. You see, thia game takes patience and determination. This isn’t one of your arcade racers. This is a legit simulator. Lets talk about some features. 3dTouch: your thumbs will not be used to this at first. Lay your thumbs down and you wont have much speed, slowly press in and the car takes off. You can press all the way down and you will soon be going to fast and the brakes are the same, tap them and you’ll feel the force feedback take in. Dont press your thumb too hard, you’ll brake forcefully and drift out of control. Trust me, I’ve done it way too much. Graphics: theres not much to say here. Its purrty and HD 30 frames per second is still super pleasing to see at high speeds. The cockpit view is horrendous 2D textures though so, yeah. Learning Curve: oh boy. Well, this is up for debate because there are alot of people that bought this game and are complaining about the controls. The devs recommend that you use tilt controls. I like using the arrow style controls. Either way, you’ll be playing on rookie first to get used to them. All in all, this game is well worth the $10 price tag for sure. There are little issues here and there but with a promise of this game being updated until the world ends practically, theres no reason for you to not buy this beautiful racing game, unless you dont like racers.
